A smart plug can be connected to the Ajax security system and has a range of up to 1000 meters without obstacles. The operation of the device does not depend on your home Wi-Fi network, so the smart plug continues to work even if there’s no internet connection.

Do you need an Ajax smart plug?

A Wi-Fi smart plug protects your devices from damage caused by electrical network problems. The plug automatically turns off the power if the voltage rises or falls to a critical level, if the current parameters are exceeded, or if the device overheats.
